2015年9月10日付で公開されたのでアップデートしてみます
ESXi 6.0 Complete Update 1 (2124715)

まずは、落としてきます。

software profile update コマンドでは、
指定したプロファイルの対応する VIB を使用して既存の VIB を更新しますが、
ターゲット サーバ上にインストールされているほかの VIB には影響を与えません。

software profile install コマンドでは、
デポのイメージ プロファイル内にある VIB をインストールし、
ターゲット サーバ上にインストールされているその他すべての VIB を削除します。

SCPやvSphereClientを使ってパッチをアップロード。

現状の確認
ESXiホストにSSH

# esxcli software profile get

ということでHPのカスタム版を使っています。

アップデートの下準備
すべてのVMを停止してメンテナンスモードに移行しておきます。
プロファイルの確認

# esxcli software sources profile list --depot=/Path/update-from-esxi6.0-6.0_update01.zip

アップデートしましょう
ぼくは他のVIBには影響しない
「esxcli software profile update -d」でアップデートしました。
特にベンダーCustom版を入れている場合には要注意です。

# esxcli software profile update -d /Path/update-from-esxi6.0-6.0_update01.zip --profile=ESXi-6.0.0-20150902001-standard 
Update Result

2、3分でアップデートは完了。
ということで、ESXiホストを再起動しましょう。

確認

# vmware -v -l
VMware ESXi 6.0.0 build-3029758
VMware ESXi 6.0.0 Update 1

あがってますね。

あとは、メンテナンスモードを解除して
VMを上げれば終わりですが、VMWare-toolsのアップデートも忘れずに。
