ESXi5.0.0用のパッチである、

ホストの再起動も、ゲストの停止、メンテナンスモードも必要なさそうなので
そのまま当てようとすると、
# esxcli software vib install -d /full/Path/ESXi500-201204001.zip
[InstallationError]
[Errno 32] Broken pipe
vibs = VMware_locker_tools-light_5.0.0-1.12.653509
Please refer to the log file for more details.
と言われてしまう。
きちんと、フルパスを指定しないと別なエラーが出るので注意！！
メンテナンスモードに落とせばいいんだろうけど、
起動しっぱなしで当てられるパッチだということで、
ちょっと調べてみました。

自宅メールサーバから、Gmailにメールを送ると、

となるのでSPFに対応させてみようと思います。
アップデートしたのですが、
esxi5.0-5.0_update01
NFSがマウントできなくなりました。。。

Label名・・・NFS
・FreeNAS-8.0.2-RELEASE-amd64 (8288)
IP・・・192.0.2.11
MountPoint・・・/mnt/NFS
IP等設定やハードウェアに変更はないのに・・・
ESXi 5.0に対するアップデートが来ました。

ということで、ESXi5.0をアップデートします。
今回は、ホストに直接SSHして「esxcli」で行います。
全部のゲストOSを停止し、メンテナンスモードに落としておきます。
アップデート後は再起動が必要です。
